The small saloon we see in these pics is seemingly sporting a Buick grille, but our spy says this is an Opel Corsa wearing a fake grille
There was a time not long ago, when we wouldn't give news concerning sub-compact saloons a second look. But times are changing, and even the Middle East market has started to see these little three-box machines gaining popularity. That's why this set of spy photos caught our attention.
The small saloon we see in these pics is seemingly sporting a Buick grille, but our spy says this is an Opel Corsa wearing a fake grille. Either way, this compact saloon from General Motors is expected to ride on the same G2SC Gamma Platform that will underpin the next generation Chevrolet Sonic and the Bolt electric vehicle. While the production version will be sold as an Opel-or Vauxhall-badged Corsa in Europe, it could also go on sale in Asian markets as a Chevrolet Sail. A fancier version wearing a Buick badge will also likely be aimed at the American market.
Powertrain options could include a bunch of threeand four-cylinder engines, all likely to be turbocharged.
