The UAE has a number of business locations especially dedicated to companies in the automobile industry and its related industries, giving entrants to the UAE market enough choices where they can set up shop.

The Dubai Auto Zone (DAZ), part of Economic Zones World and a sister organisation of Jafza, is a comprehensive place that caters to all aspects of the automotive industry within the UAE, from buyers and sellers to service providers and traders. It comprises three zones: a free zone to attract foreign investment in the automotive sector, a specialised economic zone that caters to the GCC markets, and a retail zone in which to service the local market. It currently hosts over 400 companies.

The Dubai Cars and Automotive Zone (DUCAMZ), a Jafza-managed district, is used for the re-export of used automobiles to the Asian and African regions. It is strategically located, with easy access to airports, seaports, and a network of highways for the quick transport of vehicles.

In Abu Dhabi, there is Motor World in Shamkha. It has modern facilities that cater to businesses which engage in the buying and selling of new and pre-owned cars and even servicing of vehicles. Considered a one-stop solution for automotive requirements, the area also offers services such as registration, insurance and finance. Another destination in Abu Dhabi is Mussafah. The area boasts a vast lineup of state-of-the-art showrooms featuring some of the most popular vehicle dealerships in the country.

In Sharjah, the Al Roq’ah Al Hamra used cars market located near the Sharjah International Airport and Sharjah Free Zone is expected to become operational soon. If will offer almost 300 showroom space. The project is built to relocate more than 400 used car dealers in the existing market in Abu Shagara where parking woes and traffic congestion have become constant problems among residents.
